We can announce the GT8, our most ambitious project to date, is here. This product represents a step forward in what GTClocks and these devices are capable of. 

Enhanced security including encrypted PII/biometric data

Data security is at the core of what we do. The GT8 combines an encrypted file system, secure boot, hardware-backed key storage and a hardened operating system to keep data and personal information secure.

GT8 uses Android™10 providing maximum flexibility

The GT8 uses the AndroidTM 10 operating system. This means applications for the device can be easily developed using familiar tools and frameworks. The GT8 can also be updated over-the-air (OTA), keeping the operating system up-to-date and secure.

Quad-Core Processor

The GT8 uses a quadcore 1.6 GHz processor and 3gb of RAM with 16GB high performance flash to create a device truly capable of supporting today’s native and web application needs.

Facial recognition

Facial recognition technology provides a touchless biometric solution that prevents time theft through fraudulent transactions.

5 Megapixel IR Camera

Our ‘Enhanced Exposure’ technology and multiple illumination modes, ensures optimal facial recognition performance across a variety of background lighting conditions.

Proximity/Biometric illumination for guided actions

For clients utilizing fingerprint biometric identification or proximity cards, Illuminated ‘call to action’ points guide users to where the finger or card should be placed for identification. The illumination can be tailored to suit end-user or partner needs – meaning the color, brightness and effect of the light can all be changed. This intuitive approach makes the GT8 simple to operate and improves the user experience overall.

Customizable branding with configurable back-lighting

The GT8 provides numerous branding options for application providers or their corporate end-users. Devices can be provided in a range of colours and can include company names or logos. The back-lighting can also be adapted to fit the brand look & feel. The GT8 can be customized to suit any brand.

High resolution (1280×800) 8” full-colour touch display

The GT8 provides a great user experience with an 8” full-color high-resolution touch screen providing the user a concise, impressive interaction, comparable to that experienced with modern mobile devices.

Integrates with our cloud subscription services
As with all our products, we offer subscription-based cloud services, built to optimise and facilitate your workforce management infrastructure. GTConnect enables our partners to manage and diagnose networked devices remotely. In combination with the next day hardware replacement offered with GTProtect, maximum up-time is ensured.
